When we talk about Equities, we need to think about them holistically as an asset class as opposed to simply focusing on the individual stock or sector or index we’re looking at. [Read more…]
Mystery Chart 12-17-2019
From the desk of Tom Bruni @BruniCharting
New Mystery Chart!
For those new to the exercise, we take a chart of interest and remove the x/y-axes and any other labels that would help identify it. The chart can be any security in any asset class on any timeframe on an absolute or relative basis. Maybe it’s a custom index or inverted, who knows!
We do all this to put aside the biases we have associated with this specific security/the market and come to a conclusion based solely on price.
You can guess what it is if you must, but the real value comes from sharing what you would do right now. Buy, Sell, or Do Nothing?

Anyway, let’s take a look. [Read more…]
Have You Seen What Base Metals Are Doing?
From the desk of Tom Bruni @BruniCharting
Copper has been getting a lot of attention as it hits 5-month highs, but there is another Base Metal chart that’s not being talked about.
Today we’re looking at that chart and then taking a more comprehensive approach at what’s going on in the space.
[Chart of The Week] Base Metals Remain A Mess
Commodities have been a “hot mess” as a group with the exception of a few trends that we’ve been taking advantage of.
The last time we talked about Base Metals were in July, when we were looking for a bounce in Zinc.
Today, let’s take a look and see if anything in the space has changed.
[Premium] Canadian Stocks With A Catalyst
From the desk of Tom Bruni @BruniCharting
It’s been about 4 months since our last Canada update and many of the trades we outlined there have run their course, so today I want to look at 3 stocks with a common catalyst to spark their next move higher.
